< Miracle in Arthur’s Home
Helen Keller was born in June 27 eighteenth eighty in small town in Alabama. Her dad was captain in the army on the south during the America Civil War. She was the first child in their family. Helen was born as a healthy child, and parents were happy together. When suddenly the little girl got sick, she had fiver for three week. The fiver was gone but she got side effects on her hearing and she became a deaf and blind child. The little girl becomes a big problem in their family. She was angry and her behavior became wild. Her mom understood her child has to have some education and she hoped. She believed one day her child will come and talk to her. Her father found a good teacher, her name was Anne Sillivan. Anne came to live with her family and she taught sign language. Helen got excited when she realized that things had names. Anne worked hard with Helen until they got successful. Hear is the title of the story. That’s how I heard about little Helen Keller. That movie moved many hearts in this world. When I watched the movie about Helen, I couldn’t stop crying. Why? Because life is full of surprise. We don’t know what will bring tomorrows day good, or bad things, like the Artur’s family. For this story we can bring so many lessons for our lives. Young parents need to pay attention to their children when they get sick so the child can get treated on time. If we don’t do our job on time we will regret this for the rest of our lives. It’s good to learn from others mistakes. If we do mistakes it hurts a lot. I like it how her mom loved her child in that situation. Helen was blind and deaf so they got a lot of problems with her. Her family’s life became abnormal. She became wild, started throwing things, kicking and biting. Her father wanted someone else to take care of her but her mom couldn’t accept this situation. She knew that nobody will take care of her daughter better than her. I think her mom wanted to fix the mistakes; she did everything to make a better life for Helen. She believed that a miracle can happen to Helen in her home. She wanted to keep her daughter close to her, she wanted to suffer with her. We have to be near our children no matter what happens in life. We have to live with hope in our lives. We know God is with us. Miracles can happen in our families. He healed sick people and he can do the same to us. My readers I don’t know who you are but I have something to tell you. Jesus can do everything for us and our children. He said just” believe”. The second hero for this story is Anne Sillivan, she was the first teacher for Helen. To work with a wild child was very hard. To do something in life takes time and sometimes is very difficult. For example when I came here I didn’t know English at all but it takes time and is very hard. I believe that one day I will read write and speak frequently. I believe if Helen was blind and deaf and she learned Greek, French and German. For us it’s even easier because we know the color of the sky and we recognize mother’s voice we need to do more than Helen. I know one thing” What is impossible with people is possible with God. He will help us get education and a job in this country.
