Field trip

I was impressed of this norms place Olmsted Legacy at the Washington State Capital. We met six bronze doors bear relief image of early industry and scenic beauty of Washington State. We saw inside the building two statues. The first is of Marcus Whitman,a trainer physician who was instrumental bringing settlers to Washington. The second symbolizes Mother Joseph, who was responsible for construction many hospitals and other social service institutions in the Northwest .
On the second floor we visited the four executive offices. The offices of the Governor,Lieutenant Governor,Secretary of State, and Treasurer. On the third floor is Reception Room. In that room the Walls are made of Marble from Italy. On the floor is big colorful carpet. The original carpet was made in New York. In that time was installation the world's largest machine-made single-loomed carpet. In the center of this room is big round table that was make from more than 50 layers of wood. It was a gift from Russia. This room is for formal State ceremonies and meetings.
Rotunda
The ceilings of the interior dome rises 175 feet above the rotunda floor. Hanging from 101 foot chain is an ornate 5-ton bronze chandelier containing over 200 light bulbs. And many things are there you just have to go on a field trip and you can see more!
